Organizer
Aarhus Space Centre have made an agreement with Planet to buy a research license to access their Earth observation data. Planet provides high resolution satellite imagery which is updated daily.
At this mini-workshop, you will get a short introduction to Planet and their observations, and we will show you how to access them.
After the introduction, we encourage all participants to give a brief (3 minutes) presentation about their research, specifically focusing on how Planet data could be utilised within that field/topic. We hope that this will foster discussions and collaborations.
The event will be held at the Department of Physics and Astronomy: building 1525, room 626 ("Det Skæve Rum"). Light refreshments will be served. Remote participation will be possible (please contact us).
If you would like to partcipate remotely, to receive an invitation in Outlook, or have any questions, please don't hestitate contacting us on space@au.dk . You are also very welcome to letting us know if you consider attending, as it will help us plan the catering.
Everyone is welcome! We are looking forward to seeing you!
