This event explores the future of industry beyond Earth, focusing on how space-based technologies are opening new possibilities for innovation and growth across sectors. It brings together experts and stakeholders to discuss emerging commercial opportunities and real-world applications.
SpaCe – Aarhus Space Center is very excited that our partner Kitchen Space, in collaboration with ESA BIC and Partnerhuset, has created this event.
Contributing to this event are, among others, Nina Holm Vohnsen, Associate Professor and Head of Department of Anthropology at Aarhus University, who will serve as moderator, and Michal Kazimierz Budzik, Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering, who will join as a panelist. Both are members of the SpaCe – Aarhus Space Center steering group.
For Nina Holm Vohnsen, this event highlights the importance of addressing the human questions that accompany technological advances in space:
If humans are to live in space, we must ask ourselves what truly makes a life human. It is a question that reaches far beyond the technologies that enable human presence in space, and which we will focus on June 2.
The event takes place on 2 June from 15:00–18:00, and registration is required.
