Opportunity for students: Apply for registration waiver for TASC10/KASC17 conference 2026

SpaCe – Aarhus Space Centre is offering students the opportunity to apply for a registration waiver to attend the TASC10/KASC17 conference in Aarhus in July 2026.

SpaCe is pleased to offer a limited number of registration waivers for bachelor and master students interested in astrophysics and space science, who wish to attend the upcoming TASC10/KASC17 conference in Aarhus.

The TASC (TESS Asteroseismic Science Consortium) and KASC (Kepler Asteroseismic Science Consortium) conference will take place from 6–10 July 2026 at Aarhus University. The workshop will bring together the asteroseismology community to review key achievements from the Kepler and TESS missions and to discuss future directions in the field, including upcoming opportunities related to the PLATO mission.

The programme will address topics such as stellar interiors, rotation and mixing processes, and current challenges in stellar modelling, while bringing together observers, theorists, and instrument specialists.

The waiver covers the conference registration fee (including welcome reception5 July, lunches, the excursion and conference dinner, but not the Astronomy Mixer, travel and accommodation)

To apply, students must complete a the application form (find link below), including a short motivation, where applicants are asked to describe how attending the conference fits into their programme of study, outline their interest in astrophysics, and reflect on what they hope to gain from participating in the conference.
