In the Spring of 2025 representative from the entire Danish space sector were invited to take part in a survey aimed at mapping the Danish space sector, with a focus on national space missions. This effort was a part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Innovation’s strategic focus outlined in the National Strategy for Space Research and Innovation.
This survey played a central role in shaping the future framework for national space missions. The input informed the process and contributed to a comprehensive understanding of the challenges, opportunities, needs, and priorities the sector sees in relation to future Danish space missions.
To ensure a broad and representative mapping of the sector, this process element included representatives from:
Universities and academic institutions
Private companies and industry stakeholders
Governmental bodies
Other key institutions and actors
The survey ran from 27th of May 2025 to 12th of June 2025
More than 130 represenatives from the Danish space sectore compleated the survey - thank you all for your contribution!
